A quiet wedding took place Aug. 25, 1942 at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran South Green Grove Church when the Rev. M.C. Goetsch united Harold T. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Brown of Gladstone, Mich., and Jean Christensen of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

The happy couple left that night for Gladstone for a short visit and are now at home in Owen where both are employed.

Several showers preceded the wedding and many gifts were received. They have the best wishes of a host of friends here.
