Holmgren, Edith (25 AUG 1942)

A quiet wedding was solemnized Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1942, at Superior, when Edith Holmgren of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) and Clarence LePage of Superior, were united in marriage before a Justice of the Peace at the courthouse.

The couple were attended by Mrs. Bernard Auberg of Withee, Wisconsin, a sister of the groom, and Archie LePage, a brother of the groom.

The bride wore a redingote of navy blue and white with a gardenia corsage, and the bridesmaid wore navy blue and a gardenia corsage. The groom and best man wore dark suits with aster boutonnieres.

A seven o’clock wedding supper was served at Buchard’s Café, with covers being laid for twelve.

Mr. and Mrs. LePage will be at home in Superior after Oct. 1.
