Neuhaus, Mr./Mrs. Gerhard (60th - 1941)

Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Neuhaus of Curtiss celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at their home on Sunday, Sept. 8. Mr. Neuhaus is 84 and his wife 79 years of age. They celebrated their 50th anniversary at their farm in the Town of Colby ten years ago and since then have retired and live in the Village of Curtiss. Both are in good health.

The following children of the couple were present: Mr. and Mrs. William Neuhaus and family, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Baumgarten and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Neuhaus of Colby; Otto Neuhaus, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Strade and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller and daughter, Florence, of Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Amos Miller and son, Harold, and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Oehdrich of Cleveland.

Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Oehldrich and daughter, Lou, of Cleveland; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dehne and daughter of Colby; Mrs. Paul Klumb of Dubuque, Ia.; Laura Mathesen and Harvey Bowman of Detroit, Mich.; and Mrs. Amelia Neitsch of Curtiss.

Refreshments and lunch was served during the afternoon and evening.
