Jackson, Ella (15 JUL 1869 - 29 OCT 1942)

Mrs. Ella Jackson, wife of Charles Jackson, passed away at Wausau, Thursday, Oct. 29, 1942, at the age of 71 years. She was the mother of Mrs. John Taylor of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) at Owen with Rev. C.S. Matthews officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. An obituary will be published next week.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) for Mrs. Charles Jackson who death occurred on Thursday of last week. She was 71 years of age.

Ella Babb, was born July 15, 1869 at Knowlton, Wis., where she resided with her parents until her marriage to Charles Jackson in 1897.

Mr. and Mrs. Jackson made their home in Stevens Point, where Mr. Jackson was employed, later moving to Brokaw and then to Mosinee.

To this union were born two sons, Elmer, Forrest, and one daughter, Mrs. John Taylor, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Jackson, and sons, Elmer and Forrest. Also two grandchildren, Gladys Jackson, and Charles Taylor.
