Lehman, Anna (15 APR 1879 - 15 NOV 1942)

Mrs. Otto Lehman, 64, town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died at the Legault Hospital in Owen, Sunday evening, following a one day illness. She was taken suddenly ill in the morning, and was then removed to the hospital, but expired that evening.

Anna Lehmann was born in Germany April 15, 1879, and at the age of two years came to the United States with her parents, who settled at Watertown, Wis. Here she spent her childhood, and in 1900 was united in marriage to Otto Lehmann. For three years the young people made their home in Watertown. In 1903 they moved to the farm west of Withee on Highway 29, where they have since resided.

She leaves to mourn, her husband and eight children, Johanna, Mrs. Fero?, Whitewater, Wis.; Helen, Mrs. Veryl Gilber, Beloit; Mary, Mrs. Jerry Smith, Waukesha; Herman, who is in the army overseas; Dorothy, Mrs. Harold Humboldt, Pewaukee; Edna Lehmann, West Allis; Elmer, with the U.S. Army in California, and George of West Allis. Three children, Ioa, Mrs. Harry Daniels, John and Otto, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin), with Rev. W. Hotchkiss of the Congregation Church, officiating.
