The Episcopal Church, Madison, with Rev. Fr. Ringland officiating, was the scene of a wedding of much local importance, Saturday morning at 10 o’clock, when Miss Elizabeth Bruchert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bruchert, and Roy Bacon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bacon of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage. They were attended by friends of the groom from Madison.
Miss Bruchert is a graduate of the Owen High School, and the Eau Claire State Teachers College, and for the past six years has been teaching in the schools at Unity. Her in Owen and at Unity she won for her self a host of friends who will wish her well in married life.
The groom is a graduate of the Owen High School and for a number of years was employed at the Carnation Co. in Owen. For some time now he has been at Madison with the Crown Can Co., holding the position as maintenance man for their plant in that city.
