In their newly furnished apartment, wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Edna Martin of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Elverton (Jack) Olds, Friday evening at 8:30 o’clock, the Rev. Ronald E. Ortmayer, vicar of St. Katherine’s Church, performing the ceremony, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Madsen acting as witnesses.
The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Martin of Withee, ahs been employed for the past several years in the offices of the Master Package Corp., and is well known and popular with the young set of Owen and Withee. She is a graduate of the Withee High School.
The groom for the past several years has owned and operated the B & O garage in this city, and in his business relations with the public, has won for himself a host of friends, and built up for himself a steadily growing business. For the past year he has been president of the Meadowview Country Club, and has always been active in civic affairs.
The young couple went to housekeeping at once in their apartment in the John S. Owen Lumber Co. office building, and after a couple of weeks will be at home to their many friends here and at Withee.
They have the best wishes of their numerous friends for a long and happy wedded life.
