Spaeth, Agnes (28 FEB 1883 - 27 JAN 1943)
News of the death of Mrs. Agnes Spaeth, 62, which occurred at Everett, Wash., Wednesday, was received here today, and funeral services will be held at Cadott Monday afternoon, according to last announcements.
Mrs. Spaeth and her daughter, Grace, left Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) about a year ago, and went to Everett, where her son is employed. Since then they have resided in the west. Before leaving here she had been in ill health and it was thought that a change of climate would be beneficial for her.
Mrs. Spaeth had been a resident of Owen for more than thirty-five years, her husband preceded her in death about thirty years. One son, Willard, and one daughter, Grace, are left to mourn, besides two brothers and two sisters. The brothers and one sister make their homes at Cadott, and one sister lives at Spencer.
Services will be conducted from the German Lutheran Church at Cadott and burial will take place in that village.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cadott, for Mrs. Agnes Spaeth, whose death occurred Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1942, at Everett, Wash., the Rev. Bubeck officiating, and burial taking place in the Cadott Cemetery.
Agnes Wilhelmina Schultz was born, Feb. 28, 1883, at Cadott, and lived there until her marriage to Charles C. Spaeth, Jan. 24, 1906. Following their marriage they moved to Owen, where she resided until about a year ago, when she and her daughter, Grace, went to Pasadena, Calif. Her husband preceded her in death, Jan. 24, 1915.
Mrs. Spaeth had been in failing health for many months, and about a year ago went to Pasadena, Calif., where she had hoped that the climate would be beneficial to her health. In October she and her daughter, Grace, went to Everett, Wash., to be with her son, and while there she was admitted to a hospital in that city, and there passed away.
She leaves to mourn, one son, Willard H. Spaeth, and one daughter, Grace, whom reside at Lake Stevens, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Munroe, Cadott and Mrs. Clara Bollins, Spencer, and two brothers, Alvin and August Schultz, both of Cadott.
