Rasmussen, Hans (1884? - 16 MAR 1943)
Funeral services were conducted at the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) Saturday for Hans Rasmussen, 58, of Omaha, Neb. Mr. Rasmussen, a veteran of World War I and a former resident of Withee, died March 16, 1943 of a heart attack.
Rites were also conducted in Omaha. Burial was made in the Withee Danish Cemetery, with the Rev. Bundgaard officiating.
Mr. Rasmussen was a native of Denmark. He had been living in Omaha for the past 13 years, and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, five sisters, and a brother, Mrs. Robert Johnson, Withee, is a sister. One sister lives in Canada, three in Denmark, and the brother lives in Miami, Fla.
Pallbearers at the rites were Sigred Sorenson, Marius Jensen, Alfred Frost, Christ Frost, Carl Jensen and Arnold Rasmussen, and those in charge of flowers were Mrs. Chris Frost, Anna Frost, Mrs. Alfred Frost and Mrs. Bundgaard.
