Villemonte, Edith V. (3 APR 1943)
In the Chapel of the Congregational Church at Waukesha, Miss Edith Virginia Villemonte exchanged nuptial vows with Edward L. Mead of 227 Greenwood Av., Waukesha.
The ceremony was held at eight o’clock Saturday evening, April 3, 1943, with Rev. Alfred E. Gregory officiating.
The bride was gowned in navy blue sheer and white accessories. Her niece, Miss Marion E. Stoker of Milwaukee, was her only attendant. She wore an afternoon dress of brown silk trimmed in white. Her jewelry consisted of a pair of earrings, a gift from the bride. Both wore corsages of American beauty roses and sweet peas. Leighton Mead was best man for his father.
