The Fremont Hotel was sold on Wednesday of last week, and the new owners, Mr. and Mrs. George Mattson of Cable, Wis., took possession immediately. They purchased the business from Jos. Christi, who had conducted the hotel for the past several years. Mr. and Mrs. Christi left Saturday for Chetek, where they will make their future home.
In taking possession of the hotel, the new owners plan several improvements within the next few months.
