Krause, Eleanora (1 FEB 1892 - 24 SEP 1941)
Mrs. Edwin Krause, 49, died early Wednesday of a brain tumor in a Rochester, Minn., hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Peace Reformed church at Curtiss, with the Rev. S. A. Smiechen of Colby, officiating.
The body will lie in state at the family home and interment will be made in the Pine Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Krause, nee Eleanora Beil, was born Feb. 1, 1892, at Hilbert where she lived until she married Edwin Krause on Feb. 27, 1911. For the last 29 years she had lived in Curtiss. She was secretary-treasurer of the Ladies Aid Society of Peace Reformed church for a number of years.
Surviving her besides her husband and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beil of Hilbert, are seven sons: Herman of Stanley, Solomon at home, Edwin and Mervin (twins) of Curtiss, Alvin, Ervin and Calvin of Chicago.
She also leaves the following brothers and sisters, Henry Beil of Reedsville, Herman Beil of Rockville, Harold and Herbert Beil of Hilbert, Mrs. Walter Ortlepp of Chilton, Mrs. William Riemer of Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Herman Stecker and Mrs. Charles Genske of Hilbert. Seven grandchildren also survive.
A daughter preceded her in death in 1923.
