Schmidt, Genevieve (12 JUL 1941)
Saturday, July 12, Miss Genevieve Schmidt, daughter of Mrs. Blanche Schmidt, Loyal, became the wife of Elmer Luepke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Luepke, Sr., Spencer. The scene of the wedding was the Trinity Lutheran Parsonage in Racine and the officiating pastor was the Rev. Voulker.
The bride who grew to womanhood here is a graduate of the Loyal High School, class of 1938, and of the Wausau Academy of Beauty Culture. She is employed in a beauty parlor in Racine. For her wedding she wore a sky blue redingote dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink and blue roses.
The groom wore a blue gabardine suit. He attended the Spencer High School. At present he is employed in Gary, Indiana.
Lorna Sumako was the bride’s only attendant and Fred Luepke, Jr., brother of the groom, was his attendant.
Because Mr. Luepke is expecting a call to U. S. service soon the bride will continue her work in Racine for the present.
The best wishes of the Loyal Tribune are added to those of their many other friends in the vicinity.
