Ann Austin, 94, Neillsville, died Saturday morning at Bethany Riverside Nursing Home, La Crosse.

Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville, is in charge of arrangements.

Ann Austin

Ann M. Austin, 94, of La Crosse and formerly of Neillsville, died Feb. 16, 2008, at Bethany Riverside in La Crosse.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville. The Rev. Woodrow Pace will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Buchanan Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born June 8, 1913, in Caltrano, Italy, the daughter of Mary and Valentino Dall'Olio. Before marriage, she worked in the garment industry in Rockford, Ill. On Nov. 8, 1947, she married Merle Austin in Rockford, Ill. After marriage, the couple farmed in Illinois and Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville.

Survivors include one son: David (Jane) Austin, of Marshfield; one daughter: Mary Fitzpatrick of La Crosse; eight grandchildren: Kimberly Austin, Sarah (Kevin) Gadke, Kathleen Fitzpatrick (finance Callan Hackstaff), Heather, Molly, Amy, Daniel and Kelly Fitzpatrick; two great grandchildren: Tyler and Bridget Gadke; one sister, Theresa Cascio of Rockford, Ill. and nieces and nephews: Judith Gilmore, Margaret Anderson, Nicholas Cascio Jr., and Jerome Cascio.

She was predeceased by her husband, Merle, in 1984, her parents, one granddaughter, Ann Fitzpatrick, and two brothers: Robert and Paul Dall'Olio.

Memorials may be directed to Catholic Charities in La Crosse.
