Adela Goutcher
Spencer, Wis. -- Adela Pachal Langfeldt Goutcher, 94, of Spencer, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in the emergency room of Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 3, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. Burial will be in West Spencer, Wisconsin Cemetery in the town of Sherman.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home in Spencer and one hour prior to service time Monday at the church.

Adela Goutcher
Adela Pachal Langfeldt Goutcher, 94, of Spencer, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Emergency Room. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Revs. Robert Olson and Karl Rose will officiate. Joann Will will provide the music.
Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery in the town of Sherman in Clark County. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at the Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home in Spencer and one hour prior to service time Monday at the church.
Adela was born Feb. 8, 1914, in the town of Beaver in Clark Co. to Joseph and Agnes (Roadt) Pachal. She attended East Beaver school in the town of Beaver until eighth grade. She married Edwin Langfeldt in 1930 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They later divorced. In 1952, Adela wedded Alvin Goutcher at South Green Grove Church in the town of Beaver. Alvin passed away in 1982.
During her married years, Adela worked as a farmer's wife and homemaker. She was employed as a cook at the Village Plaza Restaurant in Spencer and later worked as a lunchroom cook at Immanuel Lutheran School in Marshfield. Adela enjoyed gardening, playing cards and Scrabble as well as hours of sheepshead. Adela was more than happy to travel anywhere and was an avid "bank" fisherwoman, not a boat fisherwoman. Adela was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Adela is survived by her children, Vivian (Theodore) Briski of Greenwood, Guy (Mary) Langfeldt of Marshfield, Rosalee (Milt) Hall of Racine, June Pollard of Hobbs, N.M., and Trudy (Howard) Reber of Wisconsin Rapids; 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Adela is further survived by a sister, Alice Lavene of Neillsville, and a sister-in-law, Esther Pachal of Neillsville. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Adela is predeceased by her parents, both husbands, two daughters, DonnaMae and Joyce; one son, Butch; one great-grandson, Cody; and two brothers, Frank Pachal and Louis Pachal, and Louis' wife.
