Bruckman, Grace Augusta (14 MAY 1919 - 08 OCT 1941)

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Ray Bruckman at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 13, at St. Robert Bellarmine church with interment in St. Adalbert’s cemetery, Chicago, Ill. Rosary services were held at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at the Kronski funeral parlors.

Grace Augusta Poppe, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Poppe was born May 14, 1919, and died suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at her home in Chicago.

She spent her girlhood in this vicinity, attending the Greenwood high school where she graduated with the class of 1938. After the death of her parents she made her home in Chicago where she was united in marriage to Raymond Bruckman on February 22, 1941.

The deceased had a winning personality and the beautiful floral tributes express the love and sympathy of the many friends and relatives who mourn her death.

Mrs. Bruckman is survived by her husband and infant son, Richard Lee, ten days old; also two brothers, Daniel and Robert Poppe; four sisters, Mrs. J. (Maude) Scheuerman and Mrs. Olaf (Hazel) Moen of Longwood, Mrs. George (Bernice) Wells of Footville, and Mrs. Cecelia Bolt of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Agnes and Louisa.
