Reading this obit and the additional obits of Ernest (Ernst) Gorsegner and William Gorsegner of Marshfield,and the registry of the 1880 census of Lake,Milwaukee,Wisc,and the oral witness of Ruby Buss whose mother was Ida Susan Gorsegner It has been revealed that Christian Gottlieb Gorsegner was the youngest of the two brothers. Ernst who was 10 years older and another, William, 3 years older living in Lake,Milwaukee who on the shipping manifest Silesia travelled with Christian Gottlieb and wrote he was 23 yrs old. Christian wrote he was 20. The William Gorsegner of Marshfield is Ernst and Karolina's s oldest of four children and nephew of Christian Gottlieb Gorsegner.
