Evans, Beverly (Marriage - 11 Feb. 1950)

Miss Beverly Evans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Evans of Madison, became the bride of Kenneth Engeldinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Engeldinger of Colby, Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the First Methodist church in Madison, Rev. Merrill Abbey reading the marriage ceremony. Candelabra and spring flowers formed the setting.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white gabardine suit with gold accessories and white hat. Her flowers consisted of purple orchids. Miss Doris Day was the maid of honor and wore a blue suit with navy blue accessories. Her flowers were white orchids. Emil Fleischauer, Jr., of Madison was best man and Robert Evans and James Gradin were ushers.

Mrs. Evans wore a navy blue suit with pink accessories and a pink rose corsage. The bridegroom’s mother wore a dark blue dress and a corsage of red roses.

Following a honeymoon at a winter lodge in Northern Wisconsin, the couple will reside at 217 M. Orchard Street, Madison, after Feb. 19th.

Mrs. Engeldinger received her nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin and is now employed at the Wisconsin General Hospital. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Colby High School and is now a senior in mining engineering at the Wisconsin University, Madison.
