Podevels, Erma (Marriage - 23 May 1950)
Miss Erma Podevels, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Podevels of Colby, became the bride of Edward Kaisershot, son of Mrs. Josephine Kaisershot of Milwaukee, in a candle light ceremony performed at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 23, at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The bride was attired in an aqua colored suit with white accessories. Her corsage consisted of orchids. Miss LaVern Wolcyk of Milwaukee as maid of honor, wore a dark blue suit and white accessories. A corsage of red roses completed her ensemble. Roland Becker served as best man.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sellung of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. George Kaisershot, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sellung, Mr. and Mrs. John Mesching, Mrs. Josephine Kaisershot, all from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Out of town people were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kaisershot, Mr. and Mrs. George Frolik, both of Minnesota and Mrs. Eugene Podevels of Colby, Wis.
The bride, a graduate of Colby High School, employed at Adelman’s Laundry in Milwaukee while the groom is employed in a post office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After the couple return from a honeymoon in Tennessee, they will reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
