Young, Marjorie (Marriage - 12 Sept. 1950)
Miss Marjorie Young, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Young, and John Frane, son of Mrs. Louis Frane, were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic church Tuesday morning, Sept. 12, at 9:00 o’clock, Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating. Mrs. Vernon Baumgartner, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor and Audrey Gries, a friend, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by David Frane, his brother, and Howard Rannow, a friend. Carol Young, sister of the bride, was flower girl.
The bride was attired in a gown of white lace and satin and her bouquet consisted of yellow roses. Her attendants wore gowns of white marquisette and lace and their bouquets consisted of pink roses.
Dinner and supper were served at St. Mary’s gymnasium and a reception was held at the bride’s home which was decorated with green and white streamers and white bells.
After returning from a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in Colby, Wis.
