Fagan, Mrs. John A. (1874? - 24 MAY 1943)
The body of Mrs. John A. Fagan, whose death occurred Monday, May 24, 1943, at her home two and one half miles southwest of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), was shipped to Chicago, Tuesday evening fro burial, where funeral services were conducted Thursday morning from St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
She was born in Brown Co., Wis., and at the time of her death was 68 years of age. Fifty-one years ago she was united in marriage to John Fagan, and to this union were born: Six sons, James L. John P., of Chicago, Dan, Withee, Thomas and Lawrence of the U.S. navy, and Robert of Baltimore, Maryland, and nine daughters, Mrs. H.L. Kurtwill, Stevens Point, Mrs. Chas. Frank, New York City, Mrs. Wm. Middleton, Mrs. Jack Deder, Mrs. Jos. Hroderick, Mrs. John McQue and Misses Georgia and Dorothy Fagan, Chicago, and Miss Jeanette Fagan, Washington, D.C.
When leaving Brown County, Mr. and Mrs. Fagan spent some time in Chicago, and in 1920 moved to Owen. The last few years they have made their residence on a farm southwest of Withee.
