Peissig, Harry (11 Jan. 1899 - 30 Aug. 1950)
Funeral services for Harry Peissig of Curtiss, Wisconsin, who died at his home in the town of Hoard last week Wednesday after a lingering illness at the age of 51, were held Saturday afternoon at the Evangelical and Reformed church at Curtiss, Rev. F. P. Puhlmann officiating, and internment was made in the Pine Hill cemetery.
Mr. Peissig was born in Curtiss on Jan. 11, 1899. He attended school there and was married to Miss Opal Barrett on Nov. 8, 1934. After marriage, the couple moved onto the farm where he resided until his death.
Surviving are his wife and two children, James and Elizabeth; his father, Herman Peissig of Curtiss; three sisters and five brothers, Mrs. Henry House and Mrs. Lester Bowen of Curtiss, Mrs. Melanie Cutts of Payson, Ariz., All of Minneapolis, Minn., Arthur and Emery of Chippewa Falls, Franklin of Curtiss and Theodore of Spencer.
