McGriff, Hilda (17 Nov. 1917 - 17 Oct. 1950)
Mrs. Marvin McGriff, the former Hilda Graumann of Colby, Wisconsin died at West Manchester, Ohio, Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be held at Manchester Thursday and at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby Sunday afternoon at 2:30 P.M. Burial will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.
The deceased was born in the town of Hull on Nov. 17, 1917, and is a graduate of the Colby High School.
Surviving are her husband; her father; two brothers, Arthur and Edwin of Colby; four sisters, Mrs. George Carr of Colby, Mrs. Maynard Schwantes of Loyal, Mrs. Arthur Schmitt of Marshfield and Miss Verna Grauman of Chicago, Ill. Her mother preceded her in death about 17 years ago.
Mrs. McGriff will be remembered here by many as a lady of an affectionate disposition, bright and winning in her ways, so that friendship’s circle to here was a large one.
