Preceeding the ceremony Miss Lorraine Lupient sang "O Promise Me" and "I Love You Truly."

The bride was dressed in brown velvet with brown accessories and carried a bridal bouquet of roses. Miss Amelia Bannach, as bridesmaid, wore black velvet and carried a bouquet of carnations. Norman Marquardt, a cousin of the groom, acted as best man.

A six o’clock dinner, with covers laid for 20, was served for the immediate relatives.

The bride and groom gave a wedding dance to their many friends in the Curtiss hall Friday evening following the wedding dinner.

The bride and groom are both graduates of the Abbotsford high school and the bride is a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing at Marshfield, class of 1931. The groom holds the position of secretary-treasurer of the Laabs Cheese Company.
