Emil L. Gorsegner of 210 E. Hemmi Road, Lynden, died Feb. 11, 1994, at Christian Rest Home in Lynden. He was 82.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Greenacres Funeral Home. A private burial will follow. No services will be held.

Mr Gorsegner was born Jan. 14, 1912, in Thorp, Wis. He married Iola E. Blowers Oct. 11, 1930, at Friday Harbor. A dairy farmer, he moved to Lynden in 1945.

He is survived by his wife of the family home; sons Dale Gorsegner of Lynden and Darriel Gorsegner of Sumas; daughter Elaine Pekema of Custer; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
