Wilhelmi, Elna (16 Aug. 1904 - 2 Mar. 2008)
Mrs. Elna Wilhelmi, 103, Green Bay, died Sunday, March 2, 2008.
She was born Aug. 16, 1904, in Dorchester, to Arthur and Anna (Parge) Baehr. On Nov. 6, 1924, Elna was united in marriage to Herbert Wilhelmi at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Dorchester, Wis. He preceded her in death in 1965.
Elna was a long time member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Elna and Herbert owned and operated Medo-Farms Dairy in Abbotsford for many years. She was employed at Kaap’s Restaurant in Green Bay for many years starting in 1967. Elna was an avid Brewers and Packers fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Myrtle Preller, Green Bay; three grandsons, Stephen Preller, Brodhead, David and Marcia Preller, Woodbury, Minn., James and Cindy Preller, Grayslake, Ill.; two great-granddaughters, Anne Preller, Elizabeth Preller, all of Woodbury, Minn.; a sister, Cora Ann Ewig, Vernon Hills, Ill.; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; her parents; her brothers, Arnold, Herbert and Walter Baehr; a sister, Norma Hoegel; a son-in-law, Richard Preller; and a great-grandson, Michael Preller.
Friends may call at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1167 Kenwood St., Green Bay, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev.
