Hederer, Audrey Jane (Marriage - 1 Sept. 1951)

Miss Audrey Jane Hederer, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Hederer of Colby, and Robert Edward Jacobi, son of Mrs. Clara Jacobi of Abbotsford, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1, at 2:00 o’clock at Zion Lutheran church in Colby, Wis., Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Audrey Jacobi, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Yvonne Meyers was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Chester Jacobi of Abbotsford and Gerald Cutts of Stratford.

The bride was attired in a gown of ivory satin, bodice with buttons to waist in front, the skirt of white ninon with appliqués of ivory satin over white taffeta. Her fingertip veil of imported French illusion edged with chantilly lace, was attached to a headdress of white seed pearls and bugle beads. Her bouquet consisted of pink and white roses. The maid of honor wore a pink formal and her bouquet consisted of pink, yellow and white carnations tied with a yellow ribbon. The bridesmaid wore a yellow formal and her bouquet of pink, yellow and white carnations was tied with a yellow ribbon.

A wedding supper was served at the church parlors and a wedding dance was held at the Colby park pavilion. Guests were from Wausau, Sheboygan, Schofield, Abbotsford, Owen, Marshfield and Granton.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin.
