Maki, Edna (JUL? 1943)
Miss Edna Maki, East Chicago, Ind., daughter of Nestor and Maria Maki of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Jack Ero Makinen at Whiting, Ind. A simple ceremony was performed by Dr. Rautalahti at the Finnish Lutheran Church of Waukegan.
They were attended by the sister and brother-in-law of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie J. Maki, East Chicago.
The bride wore a lovely silk crepe dress of aqua, with white accessories. Her corsage was of French orchids. Her bridesmaid’s dress was of blue silk crepe with white accessories and white roses corsage. The groom and his attendant both wore white business suits.
The couple will make their home in Whiting, Ind.
