Tamborino, Henry (16 May 1868 - 8 Oct. 1951)

Henry Tamborino passed away Monday morning at the age of 83 years at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Weix, in the town of Colby, Wis. Death was caused by a stroke suffered Thursday, Oct. 4. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mr. Tamborino was born on May 16, 1868, in St. Henry, Minn., where he married Gertrude Hoffmann on Oct. 16, 1893. They moved to Colby in 1919 and then to Dorchester one year later. From there, they moved onto a farm near Athens and then back to Colby again in 1943. Mrs. Tamborino died in January, 1950.

Surviving are nine children - Mrs. Martin Weix of Colby, Lorrine Tamborino, Nora Kriplean and Inez Tamborino of Milwaukee, Henry and Charles Tamborino of Edgar, Mrs. Aug. (Theresa) Schumacher of Wausau, Richard Tamborino of Menomonee Falls, Mrs. Walter (Elizabeth) Bell of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Leo (Margaret) Teresinski of Athens. There are 25 grand children and nine great grand children.
