Kosieracki, Phyllis (17 JUL 1849 - 30 DEC 1942)
Mrs. Phyllis Kosieracki, mother of Mr. Thomas Kosieracki of the Town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at the home of her son, C.P. Kosieracki, at Chicago, Ill., on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1942. She had reached the age of 93 years and 5 months.
The deceased was born in Poland on July 17, 1849. She came to America in the year 1899, and in December of that year located at Thorp. She spent the best days of her life in this community and in 1923 moved to Chicago, where she resided until death.
Surviving her are four sons, John, Cypryan and Chester of Chicago, and Thomas of Thorp; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The body lay in state at the Thorp Funeral Home until the time of the funeral, which was held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Monday morning, Rev. S.R. Lengowski officiating and burial taking place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Louis Twarowski, Chas. Wichlacz, Chas. Herman, Tom Szatalowicz, Walter Juzwiak, and Chas. Kolaczkowski.
