Neis, Margaret (30 JAN 1943)

Miss Margaret Neis, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. F.P. Neis of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Lt. Edwin J. Klink of Milwaukee, Wis., were united in marriage at St. Mathew’s Church at Long Beach, California, on Saturday, Jan. 30, 1943.

The bride is a graduate of Mount Mary College, Milwaukee, and is teaching music in the high school at Mosinee, Wis.

The groom graduated from the engineering department of Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has been in the U.S. Navy the past six months.

Mrs. Neis accompanied her daughter south for the wedding.

Announcement is being made by Dr. and Mrs. Francis P. Neis of the marriage of their daughter, Margaret Helen, to Lt. Erwin John Klink of the navy. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Klink, S. 30th St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ceremony took place Jan. 30, 1943 in St. Matthews’s Church, Long Beach, Calif.. Young Mrs. Klink is a graduate of the Mt. Mary College. Lt. Klink, who has been on active duty in the Pacific, is a graduate of the college of engineering at Marquette University. He received his master’s degree at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Me. He had specialist radio training in Washington, D.C. Before her marriage his bride taught music at Mosinee, Wis.
