Mr. and Mrs. Emil H. Wingad announce the marriage of their daughter, Lucille Avis, to Virgil Schmitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Schmitt of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.

The marriage took place on Saturday morning, Feb. 27, 1943, at St. Patrick’s Church, Rev. Father Ruckl officiating.

The only attendants were Miss Rosemary Berard and Alex Neiman.

The bride was attired in a white wool sit with matching accessories. Her corsage was of white camellias and talisman roses. Her attendant, Miss Berard wore a suit of brown wool with matching accessories and a corsage of talisman roses.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the wedding party and immediate families at the home of the bride’s parents, 1112 South Dewey St., Eau Claire, Wis.
