WITHEE -- Janet Miller, 67, of Withee died after a courageous battle with cancer Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at New Harvest Assembly of God Church in Withee.

Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Janet was born and raised in Nebraska. She lived on a ranch and worked in the sale barn in Bassett, Neb., until 1971, when the family moved to Wisconsin to operate a dairy farm. Janet worked for Pogo's Hardware and retired from the position of Withee village clerk/treasurer.

She is survived by three children, Pamela (Paul) Brekke, of Eau Claire, Monte Miller of Spooner, Matthew (Tanta) Miller of Withee; one grandchild; her sister, Shirley (LeRoy) Meyers of Quartz Hill, Calif.; and her brother, Craig (Jerri) Smith of Centennial, Colo.
