LOYAL -- Carol Emma Oestreich, 86, of Loyal died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
A private graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marshfield.
Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Carol was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Marshfield to Leonard and Emma (Cundy) Smith. She married Arnold M Oestreich on May 1, 1941, at First Methodist Church in Marshfield. They lived and farmed in the Loyal-Spencer area. In addition to farming, Carol also managed the Loyal Cafe through the 1960s. After retirement, they lived in Marshfield until Arnold's death in 1997.
She is survived by her children, Ted Oestreich of Auburndale, Arnold (Mary) Oestreich of Mariposa, Calif., Donna (Ray) Morrison of Loyal, and Jack (Ellen) Oestreich of Spencer, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
