Miss Daisy Allan, of the town of Hull, a graduate in stenography, form the North Western College, at Madison, has been appointed to the position of stenographer in the Department of Agriculture at Washington, at a salary of $60 a month. She left Madison, Monday, for Washington, where she will enter upon her duties at once. She was accompanied as far as Chicago, Illinois by her father. Miss Daisy has our hearty congratulations.
