While in this city, Saturday, David Irvine and Ed Meacham called at the office and incidentally stated that there were several cases of diphtheria in their neighborhood; that a 7 year old son of Jos. Commers (Cammers) had died, Tuesday, and that there were two sick in the family of O. B. Matteson.
