Funeral services will be conducted from St. Paul’s Lutheran church in the Town of Green Grove by Rev. M. C. Goetsch, Sunday, Nov. 30, for Mrs. Theodore Sommers.

Mrs. Theodore Sommers, nee Hertha Woik, passed away at her farm home in the Town of Green Grove at 11:20 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 25, after having suffered for several months with cancer.

She was born on February 24, 1892, in the Town of Green Grove where she lived her entire life. In June, 1915, she was united in marriage to Theodore Sommers.

She had been a wonderful wife, as well as a mother to her family of six children, three sons, Donald of Atwood, and Vernon and Maryln, who are at home and three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Ruth) Schutte of Riplinger, Mrs. Harley (Ilene) Hardrath of Green Grove, and Marilyn, who is at home.

She had been an ardent worker in the ladies aid of St. Paul’s Lutheran church and a devoted Christian.

Besides her family she leaves to mourn her passing three grandchildren, three sisters Mrs. Hattie Hubert of Green Grove, Mrs. John (Olga) McLaughlin and Mrs. Frank (Huldah) Nedley, both of Milwaukee; and five brothers, Arthur Sommers and Paul, Alvin, Ernest and Anton Woik, all of Green Grove.
