Unity, Wis. - July 12, 1900
Jno. Kaudy, of Colby, had business in Unity, Monday.
Chas. Creed has returned to Rutledge, Minn., to resume work.
Geo. F. Young and ye scribe were Colby sight viewers, Monday.
H. J. Vogt has gone back to Chicago to resume his office duties.
A large delegation of Unityites celebrated in Marshfield, July 4th.
Misses Belle Horr, Nellie Plugh, Ida Schmitz and Mrs. H. Holmes were Colby visitors, Monday.
Frank Neumann and Geo. Schofield were at Loyal, Monday, representing the town of Unity in the Republican County convention.
Our board of education has re-engaged the following teachers: Prin. A. L. Rhodes, Int., Miss Tessie Dunn, Primary, Miss Margaret B. Darling. School will undoubtedly begin the 1st Monday in Sept.
Several Marshfield people were in Unity, Sunday, to attend the Ingalls funeral. Mr. Ingalls was in Marshfield for some time, residing with his son George during the absence of Frank Winters and his family from our town.
Cards were received here last week, announcing the marriage of Mr. E. W. Healy and Miss Nellie Jones of Revillo, S.D. Elmer is an old schoolmate of ours and has resided in Unity for some length of time. We join his friends in extending hearty congratulations.
