Cherokee - June 18, 1908
A very large crowd attended the dance last Sunday evening.
Henry Rein of Wausau, spent a few days of last week with relatives.
Adam Kramer and John Sazama each have a fine barn, 40x80 feet completed.
The school children enjoyed a picnic, Tuesday, on the banks of Randall Creek.
Miss Emma Kuehling closed a very successful term of school in District No. 4, town of Frankfort.
Mrs. Van Dreel and daughter of Neenah, spent a few days of last week, with Tony Van Dreel.
Mrs. Fred Fricke entertained about twenty-five ladies last Thursday afternoon. A genuine "Coffee Klaatch."
Otto Heintz gave an entertainment last Saturday evening at the school house, which was very entertaining and successful, from beginning to end.
The Green Valley Cheese & Butter Co. have improved their factory greatly, by a new stone foundation. It is now in good running order and they solicit the patronage of more of the farmers in that locality.
