The following items from our correspondent were received last Thursday, after the paper had gone to press:

Mrs. Joe Schmirler, accompanied by her son Charles, left for Seymour, Monday to attend the funeral of her brother, John Hesse. Mrs. Hesse died seven months ago.

Mr. Ray Kyle and Miss Agatha Zepping, both of the town of Frankfort, were married at the Catholic church in Athens, on Wednesday, Oct. 7th.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Schmirler celebrated their fourteenth wedding anniversary, Sunday, and a large gathering of their relatives and friends helped them.
