Riverside - Dec. 23, 1909

S. J. Davis who has been quite sick is able to be out again.

Laura Hull, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hull has been very sick with pneumonia but is getting better.

This school closed last Friday for a two weeks’ vacation, Miss Eva Barker, the teacher, is spending the vacation with her parents.

The Ladies’ Aid Society will meet with Mrs. S. J. Davis next Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 29th. This is the last meeting of the year, and it is hoped that there will be a good attendance.

Santa Claus in his workshop will be at the Riverside church Friday evening, Dec. 24th. A cordial invitation is extended to all. Come and bring the children for a visit to Santa.

On account of the Christmas Entertainment, Friday evening, the Endeavor meeting has been postponed until Dec. 31st, when there will be the regular business meeting, followed by a social time to watch the old year out and the new year in. Refreshments will be served. Everyone invited to come and have a good time. All members of the society are requested to come early for the business meeting.
