EDWIN E. MOORE, physician, Merrillan, was born in Jefferson County, Wis., Feb. 9, 1855. He received a common school education at Rome, Jefferson Co., and then attended the Milton College. Taught school for two years. Went to the Chicago Medical College, where he graduated March 4, 1878, and since then has practiced his profession in Merrillan. Was married to Miss Angie E. Merrill, May 1, 1879. She was born Sept. 3, 1856. They have one daughter, Ethel E. Dr. Moore is a member of I. O. O. F., Merrillan Lodge, No. 246, and of the Temple of Honor, and of the Northwestern Medical Association.

Oconomowoc, Wis., Jan. 3, (1896) Robert Moore died at his home at Rome, Wisconsin,
today, at the age of 72 years. He was born in Canada in 1823, and came to
Wisconsin in 1845, settling on a farm in Jefferson County. In 1847 he was
married to Miss Lois Henry, who, with ten grown children, eight sons and two
daughters, survive him. Six years ago he left the farm and moved to Rome, where
they have since resided. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a man of
upright character. He was a veteran of the late war, being a member of Co. L,
First Regiment Wisconsin Heavy Artillery.

(1) A New London Newspaper publishes a notice of the death of Dr John R Moore and states that he was born in this county in July 1850, and that he was a brother of Mrs. Henrietta Clark of Fort Atkinson. He died as a result of accidentally shooting himself while out hunting.

(3) Oscar Moore attended the
funeral of his brother, Dr. J. R. Moore at New London last Wednesday. Dr. Moore
was accidentally shot while at a deer hunter's camp in northern Wisconsin.

Edwin E. Moore (9 Feb 1855 - 30 Nov 1926) was the son of Robert Moore (21 Oct 1823, Canada - 3 Jan 1896, Rome, Wis.) and Lois Henry (5 Feb 1832, Rhode Island - 31 Oct 1901). Robert and Lois Moore married 1 Jul 1847, in Wisconsin. Both are buried in the Hofman Cemetery, Rome, Wisconsin.
