Florence E. M. Aspen, 80, of Greenwood,
Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at St. Joseph's
Hospital-Palliative Care Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Florence
Elizabeth Marie Schofield was born to Robert and Marie (Scheel) Schofield in the
Township of Mead, Greenwood, WI on June 4, 1932. She received her education at
local schools.
She married Rudolph Aspen on June 17, 1953, at the
Presbyterian Church in Chippewa Falls, WI. They moved to Colfax, WI, in 1954.
She later moved to Greenwood, WI.
Florence is survived by her brother,
Clifford (Sandra) Schofield of Greenwood, WI; step-sister, Arlene Thomas of
Neillsville, WI; step-brothers, Leonard (Sally) Etta of Granton, WI and Arnold
(Angie) Etta of Sedro-Woolley, WA; sister-in-law, Gardella Aspen of Colfax, WI;
special cousin, Ruth (Howard) Gray of Unity, WI, and many other nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
Rudy; step-sister, Ruth Kippenhan; step-brother, Irvin Etta; and sister-in-law,
Polly Burian.
The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April
1, 2013, at Sampson Funeral Home, 1017 Railroad Ave. in Colfax with Pastor
Leslie Walck officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at
the funeral home. Private burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery by
her husband Rudy, in Minneapolis, MN.
