Mrs. Julius Minsaas, 55, of route 1, Willard (Clark
Co., Wis.) was fatally injured shortly after 7 o'clock Monday evening when the
car which she was driving overturned in a field in Mead Township, southeast of
Thorp.
Mrs. Minsaas was traveling north on the township road when the car
veered to the left into a ditch and through a fence before rolling over on its
top.
Two passengers in the car, Mrs. Mattie Hansen, 59, and Joseph
Bruegl, 80, both of the Granton area, were reported unhurt. Passing motoriest,
James Boe and Gerald Horn, both of the Greenwood area, freed them from the
vehicle and took them to their home.
Clark County authorities said Mrs.
Minsaas may have lost control of the car during a moment of dizziness. She is
reported to have suffered such spells on previous occasions. The three persons
were enroute to a nearby rural store whent he accident occurred.
