Fischer, Ruth I. (27 MAY 1897 - 9 OCT 1965)

Funeral services were held for Ruth Irene Fischer, 68, at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Oct. 12, who passed away at the Marshfield Nursing Home of a lingering illness. Father Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service and burial was in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mike Kryzanski, W.G. Vanderhyden, Edward Brunett, Joseph Haas, Joseph Benzschawel and Frank Schmidt.

Ruth Brunett was born May 27, 1897, at Durand, Wis. On May 12, 1921 she was married to Leo P. Fischer at St. Bernard's Church, Thorp.

Surviving are her husband Leo, six sons, William and Truman of thorp, James, Richard, Eugene, Louis of Milwaukee; four daughters-in-law, Gerry, Edna, Ruth and Rosemary of Milwaukee; one sister Marian Brunett of Minneapolis, and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Romain and Paul.
