Guell, Barbara R. (23 OCT 1965)

Two baskets of fall colored chrysanthemums decorated Thorp Methodist Church for the marriage of Miss Barbara Ruth Guell and Ronald Raymond Reineke on Saturday, Oct. 23rd, 1965. Rev. Roy F. Scott performed the four p.m. ceremony. Mary Joe Christensen played the organ, while Mrs. John Paff sang "The Lord's Prayer."

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Corwin Guell, Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reineke, R.3, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride, whom was given in amrriage by her father, chose a white street length, three-piece suit with an imported silk yarn to the shoulder veil. She carried a traditional cascade of stephanotis, butterfly white roses and ivy centered with a white yellow throat orchid.

Attending the bride were: Miss Carol Johnson, Palos Park, Ill., and Miss Marcia Galles, Redwood Falls, Minn., wearing brass colored street length, wool sheath dresses. Each carried bouquets of gold sweetheart roses and bronze and yellow pompon chrysanthemums.

Attending the groom were James Reineke, Milwaukee and William Reineke, Racine. Ushers were Gerald Bizjak and Galen Misfeldt.

A buffet supper was served in the church dining rooms following the ceremony.

The bride, a 1965 nursing graduate from the University of Wisconsin, will be employed at Wis. General Hospital, Madison. The groom, a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School, is a construction carpenter for Krajco Construction Co., Madison.

After a wedding trip to the Ozark Mountains, the couple will make their home in Madison.
