Death of an Owen (Clark Co., Wis.)
woman in a Marshfield hospital as the result of of an auto accident has raised
Clark County's 1965 traffic toll to ten.
Mrs. Maria Telin, 80, died at 11
p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been taken after an auto
accident at Curtiss Corners on Hwy. 29 last Oct. 22.
She was a passenger
in a car driven by Mrs. Anna Riihinen, 82, Rt. 2, Owen, which side swiped a car
driven by Thomas R. Wheeler, 35, Menomonie. One other passenger, Mrs. Selma
Mattila, 75, Owen, was also taken to the hospital by ambulance.
According
to the report of traffic officer Frank Sarafin, Thorp, Mrs. Riihinen was driving
east and making a left turn off Hwy. 29 onto CTH E when the collision took place
witht he west bound Wheeler car.
Mrs. Telin is survived by her husband,
Solomon, and several children.
