Niedzwiecki, Jacob A. (15 JUL 1871 - 10 NOV 1965)
Jacob A. Niedzwiecki, 94, a retired farmer, passed away at the Havenet Rest
Home at Owen on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1965.
Mr. Niedzwiecki was born July
15, 1871 in Bokinka, Poland. He came to the states in 1899, residing at St.
Louis, Mo., and Milwaukee until 1903, when he came to the Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.) area. On Jan. 13, 1908 he was united in marriage to Petranella Jarocki at
St. Hedwig's Church in Thorp.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's
Chapel, Thorp, on Saturday, Nov 13th at ten a.m., Father Edward Masalewicz
officiated, and burial was made in St. Hedwig's Cemetery. Pallbearers were
grandsons, Paul Kowieski, Jr., Louis Kowieski, William Kowieski, Lawrence
Hadzima, James Klovas and Tom Niedzwiecki.
He is survived by his wife,
Petranella, five sons, Felix of Chicago, Phillip, Jake and Machael, all of
Thorp; Frank of San Antonio, Texas; five daughters, Mary of Hayward, Leona and
Theresa of Chicago, Julia and Rose of Thorp, 44 grandchildren and 9
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, three brothers
and two sisters.
