Fischer, Anton (31 MAR 1898 - 14 NOV 1965)

Anton Fischer, 67, proprietor of the Wilson Store since 1950, died Sunday at 11 a.m. at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.

Born at Plymouth, March 31, 1898, he moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1910, in which community he resided until taking over management of the country store. Mr. Fischer married Louis Kiras at Bismarck, N.D. in 1921.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Henry in Albuquerque, N.M., and Charles, at home.; two brothers, Charles, Minneapolis, Leo, Thorp; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. peters Catholic Church in Wilson, the Rev. Raymond Peters, Amherst, officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Thorp.
