Moldenhauer, Dr. Ruth Marie (17 June 1924 - 3
November 1968)
Dr. Ruth Marie Moldenhauer, 44, of Milwaukee, a former
Greenwood resident, died Sunday at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Wood
after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock today
(Thursday) from Immanuel United Church of Christ in Greenwood with the Rev.
David Logue officiating. Burial will be made in the West Side Cemetery.
Dr. Moldenhauer was born June 17, 1924, in Greenwood, the daughter of Richard
and Hermina (Hoseley) Moldenhauer. She never married. Her father died February
6, 1963.
She attended the Decker State Graded School in rural Greenwood
and was graduated from Greenwood High School in 1941. She attended the
University of Wisconsin and received a degree in psychiatry, following which she
took a special course in public health in Berkeley, Calif.
Dr.
Moldenhauer is survived by her mother, Mrs. Hermina Moldenhauer of Milwaukee; a
sister, Mrs. Elmer (Alice) Killion of Milwaukee; a brother, Ray of Monmough,
Ill.; and by four nieces and nephews.
